Secretary Report:

Dean-K9FLO read the minutes from our December 3, 2021 video meeting.      Recommended for Approval by Chuck-wd9bb and seconded by Lyndon-wa9jld.

Treasurer Report: Greg-K9GJN presented the Treasurers report.    We are in good condition and all monies are balanced.     Greg-k9gjn would like to wait till February to start collecting dues.  I need to check on PayPal’s policy on receiving monies:  goods & services or family and friends.     Brett-k9by recommends we all use “family & friends” for payment since we are not providing goods or services.    Greg-k9gjn if you are paying by check or cash, please try to mail to my home address or give in person.       Greg-k9gjn and Chuck-wd9bb purchased (Greg & Chuck donated) a face cord of wood was delivered to Chuck-wd9bb shed.      Jim-kd9gdy and his wife would like to pay their dues.      Greg-k9gjn it would be a family membership and it would be $20.       Chuck-wd9bb asked about repeater dues?    Greg-k9gjn will start collecting repeater dues in February and you can combine the two dues in one payment but prefer separate payments (bookkeeping).      Motion to approve the treasurers report by Chuck-wd9bb and seconded by k9flo-Dean.

Old Business:     

Brett-k9by reviewed Lyndon-wa9jld former e-mail/PC issues, Lyndon is back to normal.      Chuckwd9bb talked about using the Ham grid square/zip map web site: https://haminfo.tetranz.com/map  Thanks Chuck.

Brett-k9by Winter Field Day will be January 29-30, meet at Denny’s for breakfast then meet at Ckuck-wd9bb for setup and be on the air by 1pm and try to operate around-the-clock to 1pm Sunday.     Then do the tear-down Sunday afternoon.      We have the firewood, setup two stations both HF, two multi band dipoles, two power supplies.     Food: Greg-k9gjn will bring a pot of chili.    Bring your own drinks.     If the weather looks to dangerous (temps, snowstorm) we will cancel.     Greg-k9gjn suggested we make the go/no-go decision the Wednesday night meet-me call before Winter Field Day event.      Greg-k9gjn will FT-8 be allowed?    Brett-k9by No, FT-8 is not an emergency mode.      Chuck-wd9bb has made over 18,000 contacts on Senile Net.

New Business: 

Brett-k9by discussed an article in the January issue of QST about using Aduino (nocode) controlled Wspr mode multiband transmitter.      This could be a club project!     Maybe have a couple sessions of Aduino coding.      Should we start programs again?    Chuck-wd9bb the BFD is still waiting to have us back.    We need to keep the interest up in the club!
