Secretary Report:

Dean-K9FLO reviewed the minutes from the September 13, 2021, meeting on the web.          Recommended for Approval by Kurt-ke9n and seconded by Lyndon-wa9jld.

Treasurer Report: Greg-K9GJN presented the Treasurers report.     A motion was made to except the Treasurers report was made by Carl-w9bj and seconded by Lyndon-wa9jld.

Old Business:        

Brett-k9by the Fire Department is not available yet, hopefully soon.      Brett-k9by, Ed-kb9nbp how is your VE testing going?    Ed-kb9nbp received his badge and certificate to an official VE tester and participated in his first testing session for a technician test.       Brett-k9by brought up for discussion our first local Hamfest-CFMC this year.      It was felt the attendance was good (over 600) considering the Covig-19 environment.       Everyone was pleased with their sales and purchases.     Brett-k9by the items he had for sale from a silent-key’s son (John Beasters), we sold about half of the items and the profit for the club will be $65.      Brett-k9by pursuing building a diplexer for the next Field Day.     No news on the club call sign, but everyone keep looking.

New Business:

Brett-k9by thoughts on having our own Hamfest type event to bring in more monies.     Need Ideas such as a special events station, sixtieth club anniversary event, local auto club event, Beloit Film Festival and find good location.     Brett-k9by pursuing building a diplexer for Field Day.     Kurt-ke9n displayed pictures of his diplexer (10,15,20) displayed a layout drawing and offered parts for building.      We talked about the Covid issues what need to do.      Winter Field will be January 29-30 and hopefully at Chuck-wd9bb qth and will plan on two stations again.     We will contact Chuck-wd9bb for a location go.      Winter Field is more of an ad Hoc or spur of the moment event with less pre-planning.     Danell-kd9rxb gave us an update on the EC status, she is still waiting on the ARRL      Brett-k9by any interested in a Fox Hunt this month: Kim-n9ubj but has no driver and Chuck-wd9bb was not present.     Jim-kd9gdy inquired what equipment is needed for Fox hunting.      Brett-k9by and Dave-aknf provided info on equipment, how it’s done experiences and locations.
