Secretary Report:

Dean-K9FLO, we reviewed the minutes from our August 7, 2023, meeting.     Recommended for Approval by Lyndon-wa9jld, seconded by Chuck-wd9bb.          

Treasurer Report: Greg-k9gjn reviewed the status of the Club funds and one member paid his dues.    A motion to approve by Chuch-wd9bb and seconded by Jim-kd9gdy.     

Old Business:    

Brett-k9by We are trying to keep the meeting going quicky to provide time for Lyndon’s presentation.     Foxhunt last Saturday was cancelled due to only one known hunter present.     We will be having our last Foxhunt of the year on the second Saturday of October (14th) starting at 10am (at Denny’s) and the Fox could be anywhere in Rock County.    That will be the last Foxhunt of the year.     We had Larry (ac9go) and Verna (kd9yum) Schubert from RARA who are also future Foxhunters were visiting.      till looking for a vanity club call.     We will be using the library meeting room for today, October and November.    The December, January and February meetings will be virtual meetings.    

New Business

We had a tower climbing safety harness donated by Andy to the club and we decided to have the harness available for use by the members.      Dean-k9flo suggested we update our club equipment inventory list.    Brett-k9by will update the list.      ED-kb9nbp has an updated list of dates for Ham license examination dates and times.      Ed-kb9nbp will forward the list to Dean-k9flo and Brett-k9by.  

 A motion to adjourn the meeting by Chuck-wd9bb and seconded by Greg-k9gjn. The meeting adjourned at 7:55: pm.

Program:  Lyndon-wa9jld did an excellent presentation on the true event book “The Spy in Moscow Station” by Eric Haseltine.

Next Meeting will be October 2, 2023.
