GBARC Meeting Minutes October 2012

President Chuck, WD9BB, called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm.  Attendance:  26.  Visitors were welcomed.  Introductions were made of all attending.    WB5MSB from Alabama and Beloit was a guest.   Minutes of the September meeting were read and approved.  Al, KC9QQO, presented the Treasurer's Report; it was approved.

President Chuck, WD9BB, called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm.  Attendance: 19.   Minutes of the May meeting were read and approved.  The Treasurer's Report was read and approved.
 
Old  Business:   Doug, W9PN, discussed finalized plans for Field Day, June 23 and 24.    Band Captains were discussed and a handout was given.  See 2012 Field Day section of this web site for details.

President, Chuck, WD9BB, called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.  Attendance:  31, a recent record. 
 
Minutes of the March meeting were read and approved.  A Treasurer's report was given and approved.
 
Business:   Need new Field Day location; Greg, Carl, and Doug will check for a suitable site.
 
Report from AES SuperFest-Milwaukee.  Conrad gave handouts from AES.  Club business cards were given out.

Secretary, Carl, W9BJ , called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. The other club officers were absent.
 
Hams present were asked to introduce themselves by stating their name, call, and community. There were 19 hams in attendance.
 
Secretary Report by Carl, W9BJ :   Minutes of the February 6, 2012 meeting were read and approved.
 
Treasurers Report :   Conrad, W9DL , moved that the Treasurer Report be omitted, the motion passed.

President Chuck, WD9BB: called the meeting to order at 7 pm. All present were invited to introduce themselves with name, call, and community.
 
Secretary Report from Carl, W9BJ: Minutes for the January 6th meeting were read and approved.
 
Treasurer Report by Al, KC9QQO: The treasurer report was read and approved. Al will be in Qatar, the Middle East, ( the location of U.S. Central Command’s Forward Headquarters and the Combined Air Operations Center) next month and will not be at the March meeting. Good DXing.

President Chuck, WD9BB, called the meeting to order at 7 pm. He commented on New Club officers. He thanked the leaders of ARES, and the Rock County Repeater Assoc. No visitors were present. 
 
Secretary, Carl, W9BJ, read the Minutes of the December meeting. They were approved.
 
Treasurer, Al, KC9QQO, read the report of our Financial Statement. It was approved. Dues for 2012 were accepted.

President Carl, W9BJ:  called the meeting to order at 7 pm.  When you introduce yourself give your name, call, and town you live in.  Holiday candy treats were furnished by Carl, W9BJ.

GBARC Meeting Minutes November 2011

President Carl, W9BJ, called the meeting to order at 7 pm.    Self-Introduction Comments:   Antennas and towers you worked on this year.   Doug, W9PN, talked about his homebrew, low band, vertical antenna project.   With the help of Conrad, Chuck, and Al, two adding additional straight sections of tower were added, bringing the tower height to 50 feet.   A 33 foot vertical aluminum stinger sits on top of the tower, bringing the total height to 83 feet or 5/8 wavelength on 40 meters.   This is an insulated tower that Doug uses for good performance on 160 - 30 meters.
